We recycle internally and compost. This location donates the compost to the 9th Ward School At Blair Grocery Micro Farm and Youth Stewardship Program. Recycling includes plastic, aluminum. clear film/wrap, packaging peanuts (given to local mailing businesses) and cardboard. For every whole trade product sold Whole Foods Market will donate 1% of the retail value to the whole planet foundation which provides micro credit loans to Third World countries from whcih we source product. The Whole Planet Foundations goal is to eliminate poverty.
